  • Chemka Hot Springs are a hidden natural oasis, set in the middle of a semi-arid landscape, surrounded by lush fig trees, palms and wild vines - PARADISE! Despite being called “hot springs, ” the crystal-clear water is refreshingly warm - making it perfect for swimming year-round. There is also a rope-swing into the turquoise water, like in "Tarzan". You may also spot monkeys in the trees and colorful birds overhead. Materuni Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction, enveloped by lush rainforest and farmland, providing a serene and picturesque environment while offering visitors a refreshing escape into nature and a glimpse into the local Chagga culture. Engage in the full coffee-making process: from pulping and fermenting to drying and roasting the beans over an open fire. You’ll then grind the roasted beans using a traditional mortar and pestle, all while participating in Chagga songs and dances, culminating in brewing and savoring your own cup of fresh coffee. Enjoy a traditional Chagga hot lunch, often featuring dishes like rice, vegetables, and banana beer.
